WASHINGTON, Might 23 (Reuters) – The Chinese language authorities's current ban on U.S. chipmaker Micron Expertise (MU.O) over safety issues is “not primarily based in truth,” the White Home mentioned on Tuesday.
The Biden administration is troubled by Beijing's current actions and by raids focusing on American companies, White Home press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre advised reporters. The White Home is speaking its view to Beijing by way of the Commerce Division, she mentioned.
“These actions are inconsistent with the PRC’s assertions that it's opening its markets and dedicated to a clear regulator framework,” Jean-Pierre mentioned.
