MADRID, March 10 (Reuters) – U.S. auto maker Ford (F.N) plans to slash 1,100 jobs at its plant situated in Valencia in japanese Spain, an organization spokesperson mentioned on Friday.
The layoffs, which had been shared with unions, are a part of the corporate's modifications to its automobile manufacturing lineup in Europe, the spokesperson mentioned.
“Ford will work constructively with its union companions to cut back the impression of the separations on staff, their households, and the local people,” she mentioned.
