PARIS, Feb 1 (Reuters) – Airbus (AIR.PA) and Qatar Airways have settled a dispute over the degraded floor of grounded A350 jets, Airbus stated on Wednesday, averting a doubtlessly damaging UK courtroom trial.

The “amicable settlement” ends a bitter dispute over the security of corrosion left uncovered by cracked paint, which had led Airbus to revoke dozens of jet orders from the Gulf airline.

Airbus stated the deal was not an admission of legal responsibility by both celebration, each of whom would transfer ahead as companions. Reuters reported earlier {that a} deal could possibly be reached on Wednesday.
