April 2 (Reuters) – Burger chain McDonald's Corp (MCD.N) is briefly closing its U.S. places of work this week because it prepares to tell company staff about its layoffs as a part of a broader firm restructuring, the Wall Road Journal reported on Sunday.

In an inner electronic mail final week to U.S. staff and a few worldwide workers, McDonald's requested them to do business from home from Monday by way of Wednesday so it will probably ship staffing choices nearly, the report mentioned. It's unclear what number of staff can be laid off.
