Dec 19 (Reuters) – The US Navy on Monday awarded Amazon.com Inc's (AMZN.O) cloud computing division a five-year enterprise software program license contract price $723.9 million.

The deal will present the Navy with entry to Amazon Internet Companies' (AWS) business cloud surroundings, Skilled Companies and its coaching and certification programs.

Earlier this month, the Pentagon awarded cloud computing contracts price $9 billion to Alphabet Inc's (GOOGL.O) Google, AWS, Microsoft Corp (MSFT.O) and Oracle Corp (ORCL.N) as a part of the Joint Warfighting Cloud Functionality contract.

The Pentagon stated work can be carried out for a most of 5 years from December this 12 months via 2028.
